The bergamot orange is species of citrus similar to the bitter orange that grows well throughout Europe and the British Isles.

Bergamot essential oil has a refreshing sweet, green and fruity aroma. It is one of the main ingredients in perfume and eau de cologne. Bergamot oil also gives Earl Grey tea its unique flavour.

How To Use:

1. Tension Headaches
How to use: Add 4-6 drops to 10ml (2 teaspoons) of organic virgin coconut oil and massage. Rub it into the temples to relieve headaches. To use in a bath, dilute 4-6 drops with 10ml of organic virgin coconut oil. Add to the bath and swirl the water before stepping in.

2. Stress and Anxiety
How to use: Mix 5-10 drops with water in a diffuser to create a soothing, cool mist to help clear your mind and feel the stress melt away. Use bergamot essential oil in massage oil or bath for similar effects.

3. Urinary Infections
How to use: Mix 4-6 drops with 10ml (2 teaspoons) of organic virgin coconut oil, add the mixture to your bath water and swirl the water before stepping in.

4. Indigestion and Wind
How to use: Mix 4-6 drops with 10ml (2 teaspoons) of organic virgin coconut oil and massage it over the abdomen. Bergamot essential oil helps to relieve painful wind and indigestion.

5. Sore Throats
How to use: Mix 2-3 drops to 5ml (1 teaspoon) of organic virgin coconut oil and apply on the outside of the throat.

6. Scars and Blemishes
How to use: Mix 2-3 drops to 5ml (1 teaspoon) of organic virgin coconut oil and apply to skin to lighten dark marks, blemishes, acne scars and other scars. Cleanse skin with Orifera Orange and Bergamot Bar for even better results.

7. Deodorising Room Spray
How to use: To naturally deodorise a room, fill a spray bottle with water and add 10-20 drops of bergamot essential oil. Shake well and spray around the room avoiding wood, fabrics and other delicate surfaces. Bergamot oil kills bacteria and eliminates many odours.
